File # 2022-25495

Prince George RCMP is looking for witnesses to a shooting incident that occurred just before 5:00 a.m. on July 19, 2022. The shooting occurred at a commercial dwelling unit on the 1600-block of Queensway. Frontline police were alerted by staff at the location to some damage to the outside of a unit, which police determined to be bullet holes.

Thankfully the unit was not tenanted at the time and no one was injured in the incident. Video surveillance shows someone dressed all in black shooting at the unit, but it was not reported until several hours later when staff noted the damage. Police are now looking for anyone with information on who the suspect may be and request that anyone with information contact an investigator by calling 250-561-3300. Please quote file number 2022-13565, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

The file remains under investigation.
